Hi, My name is seth. My sister who is 32 got divorced 6 months ago. Her ex-husband refused to leave there residence so her and her 2 children 5 and 3 years respectivley moved.
She is really independant so she did everything herself. She had recently graduated from a trade school and found a part time job. The money she makes wasnt enough so she moved out into the desert where housing was more affordable.
Unfortunatley she didnt make enough to keep up the rent so she had to buy a broken down RV and live in that with the kids. This happened last week.
She just called me today crying... Her RV burned to the ground today from an electrical problem. Most of their posessions clothes etc. were lost and she can only stay at the red cross for 2 days.
Shes trying really hard to make it, but shes just a bit short monetarily. I have helped her as much as I can but I am in construction and recently got laid off. I am not able to help her right now.
I am not asking for money because a singular donation would be a short term fix. Does anyone know of an orginazation or group that helps recently divorced moms with kids? She has been told that her employer is going to put her on full time in 3 months but she needs to make it through untill then. If anyone knows of anything that could help her I would be so very thankfull. Sincerely, Seth her brother.
